Blame your parents for the fact that you hate yourself
Drown out your self-hatred with any number of distractions
from alcohol, food, promiscuity, drugs, gambling, social media, or shopping
Lament your shitty state of affairs
and then go back to indulge in more of your distraction of choice
Remind yourself of your unworthiness by taking and staying in jobs that don’t challenge you,
getting involved in and staying in relationships that don’t support your growth,
and treating your body and mind as these things that don’t require attention or care
Convince yourself you’ll always fuck things up so why bother
Create an identity of bitterness, anger, and self-destruction
