Mary Kunkel worked as a professional massage therapist for many years and now blogs regularly at www.lightlytethered.com. One of her short stories was featured in the Eastern Washington “Railtown Almanac” and also won second prize in the 2016 short story category of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association contest. She lives with her husband Richard, in Spokane, WA.
