Wars Without End by Eric Hove

who followed Alexander the Great out of Greece through Persia
and survived ten years to reach the banks of the Indus River
where they implored their king:
This must be the end of the world.
Tell us we can stop fighting

Eric Hove holds an MFA from Hamline University. He is the author of the chapbook, Strange Friend (Red Bird Chapbooks, 2015). He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Julie. https://erichove.com/
